Australia Introduces Automatic Suspension and Cancellation for Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) Courses for Overseas Students
Australia's Assistant Minister for International Education has issued a legal document under the Education Services for Overseas Students Act 2000. It starts on 5 September 2026. This document will automatically suspend and cancel the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) (GDML). This action is taken because of public interest concerns. These concerns are about the honesty of the international education sector and the student visa programme. Therefore, Registered Vocational Education and Training (VET) providers that offer the GDML will immediately face limits on new student enrolments. Their course registration will be fully cancelled after currently enrolled overseas students finish or withdraw.
