Finland Resumes Full Processing of Asylum Applications for Iranian Nationals

The Finnish Immigration Service (Migri) stopped the partial suspension of asylum decisions for Iranian applicants. This began on 1 July 2026. Migri made this decision after carefully checking the safety situation in Iran. This allows Migri to process all pending asylum applications from Iranian nationals without further delay. The suspension first started in February 2026 because Iran's safety situation changed.
