Ireland Extends Immigration Permissions for Temporary Protection Beneficiaries until March 2027
The Irish Minister for Justice, Home Affairs and Migration has made immigration permissions for all people with Temporary Protection in Ireland last longer. These permissions are now valid until 4 March 2027. This is for people whose Temporary Protection Certificates were due to expire on 4 March 2026. People with temporary protection do not need to apply for a new certificate. But they must renew their Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card. An Irish Residence Permit (IRP) card is a plastic card that shows a person's permission to live in Ireland.
