Manitoba Changes International Education Stream Selection and Transitions Eligible Career Employment Pathway Candidates to Skilled Worker
What changed
The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme (MPNP) has changed the selection rules for international graduates. These graduates previously applied through the International Education Stream (IES) Career Employment Pathway (CEP). Candidates with an active Career Employment Pathway Expression of Interest (EOI) and at least six months of professional experience in Manitoba must now move their profiles to the Skilled Workers in Manitoba (SWM) stream. They must do this to be considered for future nominations. This change helps match graduate selection better with job market needs and professional experience gained in Manitoba.
