New Zealand Extends Post-Study Work Visa Eligibility for Graduate Diploma Holders

From 16 November 2026, Immigration New Zealand will extend who can get a Post-Study Work Visa. It will now include people who have a graduate diploma at NZQCF Level 7 and also hold a bachelor's degree from New Zealand or another country. This change aims to better connect what graduates study with the skills New Zealand needs. It will help more international graduates find jobs.
