New Zealand Transitions Most Visitor and Transit Visa Applications to Online Only

Immigration New Zealand (INZ) is changing most visitor and transit visa applications to online only. From 1 October 2026, you must use the improved Immigration Online system to apply for these visas. INZ will no longer usually accept paper applications. This change aims to make processes simpler, use less paper, and improve how well and how accurately visa applications are handled in New Zealand.
