UK Visas and Immigration Updates Bulk Data Transfer Guidance for Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS)

On 7 September 2026, UK Visas and Immigration updated SMS Manual 7. This manual gives guidance on sending Confirmations of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) in large batches, also called bulk data transfer. This update adds a new link to Manual 13. Manual 13 explains Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for the Sponsorship Management System. It also changes the glossary. These changes apply immediately to education sponsors. These sponsors use the bulk data transfer function of the Sponsor Management System.
