Vietnam Enacts Decree 283/2026/ND-CP on Administrative Penalties for Labour, Social Insurance, and Overseas Vietnamese Workers

The Vietnamese Government has passed Decree No. 283/2026/ND-CP. This decree sets out administrative fines for breaking rules in the labour sector, about social insurance, and for Vietnamese people who work overseas under contract. This new rule was issued on 15 July 2026. It started on 10 September 2026. It creates clear rules for how to enforce these important areas.
