Overview

The Hong Kong Immigration Department has announced new reciprocal visa-free arrangements. HKSAR passport holders are now granted visa-free access to Nicaragua for stays up to 30 days, and will receive similar access to the Solomon Islands from 26 August 2026. In return, nationals of Nicaragua and the Solomon Islands will be granted visa-free entry to Hong Kong for up to 30 days, also effective from 26 August 2026.
