Denmark Suspends Certain Permanent Residence and Family Reunification Cases Due to Criminal Register Error

The Danish Agency for International Recruitment and Integration has temporarily stopped checking some immigration cases. This includes requests for permanent residence and certain family reunification requests. This decision happened because of a mistake found in the Criminal Register. This mistake could affect how officials decide if people can get residence permits. As a result, the agency cannot finish these cases right now.
