The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Programme (MPNP) held Expression of Interest (EOI) Draw No. 279 on 10 September 2026. It issued 793 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) for provincial nomination. The draw included four groups of selected candidates: * 233 LAAs for candidates who currently work in Manitoba in Broad Occupational Category 3, which covers health jobs. * 11 LAAs for candidates who stated French was their language of communication with the MPNP and who held a valid French language test. * 508 LAAs for top-scoring candidates who said that they or their spouse had finished post-secondary education in Manitoba. * 41 LAAs for candidates under the Skilled Worker Stream who received a direct invitation through specific special recruitment plans.
