New Zealand Parliament Passes India Free Trade Agreement Legislation

The New Zealand Parliament has passed the law for the India Free Trade Agreement (FTA). Most members of Parliament voted for it. This approval means the FTA can now start. It will immediately cut import taxes a lot for New Zealand businesses selling to India. The agreement aims to increase trade and investment between the two countries. The goal is to double the total trade by 2030.
