Poland Extends Suspension of Asylum Rights at Belarusian Border for 60 Days

The Polish government, at the request of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Administration, has extended the temporary suspension of the right to submit applications for international protection at the Polish-Belarusian border for a further 60 days. This decision, effective from 18 September 2026, continues an existing legal mechanism aimed at combating illegal migration and ensuring border security, as published in the Journal of Laws.
