USCIS Updates Guidance on Revocation of Naturalisation Referrals, Renames Policy Manual Section
The U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) has released new policy guidance. This is in the USCIS Policy Manual. It is about sending naturalisation cases for cancellation, often called 'denaturalisation'. This update makes it clear when and which cases to prioritise for cancellation. These cases fall under section 340 of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA). This section covers naturalisation obtained illegally or by fraud. The guidance also renames and rearranges parts of Volume 12, Part L of the Policy Manual. These changes started immediately.
