New Zealand Confirms 2026 Opening Dates and Caps for Working Holiday Schemes

What changed

Immigration New Zealand announced the 2026 opening dates and limits for its Working Holiday Schemes. Applications for each scheme will start on a specific date. These dates are between 11 February 2026 and 17 November 2026. Applications will stay open until all places for that country are taken. Schemes with places left over from 2025 will keep taking applications. Once these places are taken, the limit will reset on their 2026 opening date.
