The U.S. Department of State issued a travel warning for the Netherlands. It is a 'Level 2: Exercise Increased Caution' warning. This is because terrorist groups plan possible attacks. These attacks might happen without warning. They could target public places like tourist sites, transportation hubs, and schools. Also, small crimes like pickpocketing and passport theft are common in tourist areas. This warning applies to United States (U.S.) citizens who travel to the Netherlands.
